Install Lotus Notes on Windows 2008 Terminal Services
Is anyone of you aware whether or not IBM is planning to support the set-up of Lotus Notes 8.5.x in a pure Windows 2008 Terminal Services environment (without making use of Citrix)?
IBM’s technote is stating quite clearly that it only supporting installations on Citrix. I am well aware that the installation is still possible; however, I would be far more confident to implement it on a large scale with a clear support statement from IBM.

Not as far as I am aware. I presume though that if this would have been in the pipe anywhere near, Kevin would have told Paul.

Can someone just publish the instructions for installing Lotus Notes 8.5.X on a Terminal server in English? We have been using Lotus Notes in Remote Desktop for a few years now and just needed a few tweaks to get it to work. However, with the new iNotes web access client being so robust almost identical to the full standard client, I’m not sure we will continue with Remote Desktop version. All the same if someone has the instructions and has tested with 8.5.1 to work on windows 2003 terminal services, please pass them along or post them to a public spot where everyone can read them in English.
