Domino HTTP task crashes when Sametime 7.x runs on Domino 7.0.2

IBM is reporting a problem where changes made to the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) in Domino 7.0.2 causes crashes of the HTTP task when running Sametime server version 7.0 or 7.5. I presume this issue won’t be solved with the ship of Sametime 7.5.1 which should be out the same time Notes/Domino 8 becomes available.

Since I did not find any clue of this bug being fixed in Domino 7.0.2 Fix pack 1 I guess we do have to wait for version 7.0.3 which is currently scheduled for September 2007.

Current workaround described by IBM is to revert to a Java Virtual Machine from an earlier Domino version.

Update 19/10/2007: This issue has been fixed in Domino 7.0.3.
